Today's woman is more knowledgeable about lingerie than ever before. She is confident enough to wear the latest lingerie sets that complement her outerwear perfectly, or to choose her favourite items of underwear and mix them up to suit her mood or purpose.
Fabrics this season are exquisite ranging from matt to shiny, transparent to opaque, in tones of black, grey, beige and red. Romantic fabrics with extravagant traits of laces, ribbons and sophisticated detail continue to grace the European lingerie ranges.
Strings give way to new angles on the tanga and there is continued emphasis on bras that give uplift and structure to complement any figure.
Striking motifs, woven fabrics in sultry merrywidows and slips feature in Princesse Tam-Tam's range. Couture collections like Galliano and Moschino show some masculine influences for elegant women, using stripes to create subtle and festive lingerie.
